Asociacion Nacional de Pescadores a Pequena Escala o Artesanales de Colombia v. Dow Quimica de Colombia,

988 F.2d 559 (5th Cir. 1993).

In this case, I represent approximately 500 Colombian fishermen who were injured and suffered economic loss in the June, 1989, pesticide spill in Cartagena, Colombia. In this appeal, the U.S. Court of Appeals reinstated the case, which had been dismissed by a Federal Judge in Texas. View a portion of my brief in this case.

LaMott v. Apple Valley Health Care Center,

465 N.W.2d 585 (Minn. Ct. App. 1991).

In this case, the Minnesota Court of Appeals affirmed a judgment in favor of my client, a woman who had been discriminated against on account of her disability.

Abo el Ela v. State,

468 N.W.2d 580 (Minn. Ct. App. 1991).

In this case, the Minnesota Court of Appeals reinstated a case brought by my client against the Minnesota State Patrol for negligence in making a traffic stop.

Race v. Pung,

907 F.2d 83 (8th Cir. 1990), cert. denied, 111 S.Ct. 762 (1991).

In this case, I represented Larry Race, who was wrongly convicted in 1983 in Duluth, Minnesota, of murdering his wife. The case was featured on NBC-TV’s Unsolved Mysteries.
